Introduction

In this section you can go into depth the characteristics of each module of the Back Office.

My Categories

This section allows you creating categories, i.e. the groups containing the application's contents.

Creating a category is simple: select an icon and give it a name, one for each language of the application.

Do you want to customize the icons? No problem. Send it to us in vector-graphics format and we'll do it for you.

My POIs

This section allows you creating, modifying and deleting points of interest(POI. In 4 steps you can create a point of interest. The minimum POIs characteristics are inserted in the first screenshot and they are: 

• name
• related category
  
• icon
• defined position on the map

In addition POI can have the following attributes and objects related:

• Second screenshot: text info
• Third screnshot: images slideshow (320x240 px)
• Forth screenshot: 3gp file (max 350 kb)

Top 10

This section allows you creating a top ten of contents, i.e. the best 10 contents you want to show off.

User can create an infinite number of top tens, but can export just one for each guide.

The top ten can contain both POI from one or more categories.

Suggestions

In 2 steps you can create text boxes related toa list of POI. 

It allows you creating cross-sectional categories and describe them.

This function is very useful if you want to manage several subjects, such as "Eating Out", "The Baroque City", "Women in the city", "Children in the city" and so on.

These cross-sectional categories, as for the above examples, need an introduction and can be related to POI of different categories.

Events

This section allows you creating an events' calendar for your city.

Insert a brief description for each event and indicate its beginning and end.

If you want to draw attention to a particular event you can associate it to a POI, so that it will be shown on the map.

Useful numbers

This section allows you creating a proper address and telephone book, including all useful numbers both for citizens and tourists such as:

• Police Corps & Emergency: Police, Carabinieri, Fire Police, Ambulance
  
• Administration: Town Council, State Offices, Chamber of Commerce
  
• Transportation: Airports, Train Station, Bus Station
  
• Other: Museums, Theaters, etc..

Itineraries

This section allows you creating itineraries by linking several Point of Interests (POI) in order to make easy for tourists discovering the area.

You can create thematic itineraries, showing museums or other monuments, 24 hours or 7 days itineraries along the city and its surroundings.

My Guide

This section allows you building and managing your own guide. The basic guide has a "map" and a "street plan".

The guide can be completed by inserting some of the following elements:

• Objects' categories (Museums, Institutions, churches, etc..)
  
• Itineraries
  
• One Top 10
  
• Useful numbers
  
• Suggestrions
